Attendees will learn about engineering considerations for installing a grain storage system.
12:15pm: Making Capital Investments - Katelyn Walley (15 minutes) No credits.
Katelyn will provide tools to help analyze the economic impact of capital investments, and how to compare different investments using partial budgets.

12:40pm Soybean Cyst Nematode in NY - Katelyn Miller (30 minutes)
An aggressive pest throughout the world, SCN can create heavy yield losses in soybeans. Producers will learn what the pest is, the damage it creates, and management strategies.
1:10pm: Seedcorn Maggot - Ken Wise NYSIPM (40 minutes)
With the loss of neonicotinoids, research through NYSIPM is being conducted to evaluate if there are other viable treatment options. Ongoing research will be discussed.
1:50pm: 10-minute break
2:00pm: On-Farm Processing of High Oleic Soybeans - Industry representative (30 minutes) No credits
Producers will learn more about processing high oleic soybeans on farm.
2:30pm: Tar spot in SWNY - Katelyn Miller (30 minutes)
Tar spot has become prevalent in the region this past season. The speaker will discuss inoculant present in the region, ideal weather conditions for development, ways to forecast your risk, and discuss how to respond with management strategies.
3:00pm: Adjourn, Pick up DEC credits
